Wind back the rolls of film
as I relive the time
every door has its own tale
on each corridor, friendships sail.
Scribbled in promises, words in ink
Scrawled in letters, hearts in pink
Friends I want to remember
Friends I won’t forget.
I lost you once at the turn of wind
I found you twice in my hour of need
embarrassing moments but what did I lose?
lessons learnt can be of some use.
On shabby pages, souvenirs of the lost ages
who am I if it’s taken from me?
Washed ashore from a ghostly wreck
who would I be? Oh, who would I be?
My heart tells me now
I’ve got to live right now
Searching for tomorrow
I can’t lose today.
I saw, I found, my answers
I think beyond the end
I am made out of memories
‘Cause time is my Friend.
